Database Model Designer

Experience: min 5 years in database design
University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.

Expert in:

• Writing SQL statements
• Creating indexes on tables and on joins of multiple tables and materialized views
• Building complex ER models with hundreds of tables
• Using multiple ER design tools and generation of database physical models
• Initializing databases, exporting and importing data, backup and restore
• Writing functions and procedures at the database level

Experience with:

• Location coordinates storing and retrieving in database
• Using spatial databases
• Participating in architectural design of applications/systems
• Database encryption
• Performing Database upgrade and patch
• Multiple database environments (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL server, others)
• Familiarity with creating database instances on Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with some of the following programming environments and languages (nodejs, javascript, PHP Laravel)

Good to have

• Openlayers experience
• ArcGIS
• Geoserver or similar systems
